The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a four year, fiscally constrained, short range program, which provides a prioritized list of multimodal transportation projects within the Metropolitan Planning Area. The TIP provides an overview of how transportation revenues will be invested over a four-year (4) period by state and local agencies that have legal responsibility to build, operate, and maintain that states' highway, street and public transit systems.
FY 2026-29 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)
The current short-range transportation plan for the Memphis MPO region is the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-29 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), which was adopted by the Memphis MPO's Transportation Policy Board (TPB) on September 11, 2025. The Memphis MPO's FY 2026-29 TIP has been amended into TDOT's FY 2026-29 STIP for Tennessee and MDOT's FY 2025-28 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for Mississippi.
