In February, the first round of public meetings were held across the state, with another round to be held this summer.

Clear communication and effective public participation are critical for the MPO's development and implementation of plans and programs.

This is why the MPO uses a Public Participation Plan (PPP) as a tool outlining engagement methods and strategies. The PPP guides outreach efforts and efforts to include those impacted by transportation investments within the Memphis MPO planning area.
