MDOT Offers a New Way to Look at Bridge and Pavement Data!

The MDOT Public Accountability Transportation Hub , or PATH , provides an interactive visual analysis of historical and current statewide road and bridge conditions.
Currently, the MDOT PATH site offers data on the condition of all bridges on the state-owned transportation system, as well as pavement conditions for all state-maintained highways and interstates. In the future, MDOT will add a component to allow the public to view active construction projects throughout the state.

FHWA announced Emergency Relief (ER) funds to help 34 states, as well as American Samoa, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, make repairs to roads and bridges damaged by storms, floods, and other unexpected events.

The maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hangar at MEM would be approximately 65,000 square feet and include a hangar apron, offices, public parking, and other facilities critical to an MRO operation.

For the next four months, MATA and Urban SDK will be working together to develop a solution that enables quick and simple sharing of all of the transit authority’s data.

The receipt of that grant, and some local dollars, will add four new switches and nearly a mile of track to the 58-acre public rail terminal on Presidents Island, giving it the ability to handle 100-car unit trains.

The Seattle-based e-commerce giant announced it will create 850 full-time jobs with benefits in Marshall County at the new 554,000-square-foot fulfillment center, where employees will “pick, pack and ship household consumer goods.”
