Memphis Regional Pedestrian and Bicycle Greenprint Plan

Building Our Connected Future

In recent years, the significance of multi-modal transportation planning and execution has notably increased. The Memphis MPO and its collaborators are currently crafting a comprehensive strategy known as the Regional Pedestrian and Bicycle Greenprint Plan. This initiative is specifically designed to propel multi-modal transportation initiatives in the Mid-South region. It builds upon previous endeavors such as the Walk & Roll: Memphis Region Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and the Mid-South Regional Greenprint and Sustainability Plan, combining their insights to formulate a unified vision for the area. The Regional Pedestrian and Bicycle Greenprint Plan will serve as a roadmap, facilitating the implementation of multi-modal transportation strategies through improved coordination and a clearer comprehension of the steps necessary for the region to pursue sustainable, equitable, and multi-modal transportation investments.
